This book was one of the funniest I have read for a LONG time, not being that long since I moved myself it really spoke to me and I couldn't put it down. Would highly recommend to anyone who fancies giggle after giggle after giggle - It's brilliant!!

A journal style highlighting the highs and lows of trying to find a suitable house for them to live + their pets. The author should do this for a living - is there such a thing as professional house movers?!

I bought this because I'm moving house and needed a bit of light relief and certainly got it, it is a very funny book.

About Deborah

Deborah Fielding was born in a mining village in Yorkshire (although her husband thinks she was swapped at birth and is actually French). Growing up in the 1980s during the miners' strikes she formed a habit of picking up things everyday people leave behind. Deborah still lives in theYorkshire area but tends to purchase rather than pick up off the street these days. After giving up a career as a Primary School teacher due to illness in the form of Crohn's Disease, Deborah's natural style, flair and love of all things chic (and the inability to sit still for longer than 5 minutes) means she is in constant search for the next blank canvas.

All that life has thrown at Deborah has given her a unique take on any situation where she is able to apply Yorkshire logic and find humour.

Diary of a house move is her first book and it was developed after moving house a couple of times. Her second diary is currently in development. Deborah also writes a couple of blogs which covers crafting, design and house decoration.
